I've been really into monochrome-ish looks. Maybe I'm just getting lazy, but it's so simple and elegant and it doesn't take long to put an outfit together. Another thing I'm really loving right now is floral, tropical, bright prints. I know, who am I right? I think the super hot weather is getting to me. I'm missing summer so I need some bright clothes in my life! Lately, my daily attire has been gym clothes because of volleyball and my new found love/hate relationship with running. So, every chance I get I try to dress up a little. I tend to miss my 4 inch heels when I'm wearing Nike Frees. And these Free People x Jeffrey Campbell heels are satisfying my summer/4 inch/amazing heel needs.

Lazy Sunday

Today was probably one of the laziest Sundays I've had in awhile now, hence my lazy girl outfit. I couldn't sleep last night so I woke up really late this morning and wasted half the day. I love waking up early and actually getting things done throughout the day but my sleeping pattern has been so off lately, which really needs to change. I've been {trying} to eat healthier and go to the gym more to get ready for Spring break in Maui! There's only about 2 and a half weeks left so it's crunch time :) Time to get my 6 pack back in time for bikini season hehe.

Regarding my outfit, I never get too many compliments on these jeans simply because they're not very flattering for a woman's body. My mom definitely does not like them and my boyfriend doesn't either, but he's too nice to tell me that. But these are some of my favorite jeans no matter what anyone says. Sometimes I like keeping my skinny jeans in the closet. These boyfriends are comfortable, versatile, and they make me feel like a bad ass. What more could I ask for?

Beautiful Day in LA

This is what I wore to the Getty Museum today! It was such a beautiful day outside, the weather was perfect. After the Getty a couple of friends showed us this awesome Japanese market where we bought really fresh, really amazing, really cheap sushi and it was really nice. After that we got some creme puffs from Beard Papa's and boba...amaaaaazing :) 

This outfit by the way is probably going to be a go to outfit for lazy days. These Alexander Wang look a like heels are comfortable and chic and the heather gray tank falls so perfectly. Needless to say, I'm obsessed with both of these purchases.

Details of the week

Sorry I was MIA this week, I was so busy! I had a few tests and volleyball was crazy. Mine and Marcus's schedules conflicted so I really couldn't post anything. Thankfully, I have nothing to do this weekend and for the first time in awhile I'm really happy about it. But on the plus side, I bought these heels and this tank over the week and I am absolutely in love with them. A girl can never have enough of the basics. I've also come to realize that I would be too happy if my closet was exclusively filled with Alexander Wang items. But first I need to find out how to afford all of that. For now, the basic tees from him are more than enough to satisfy me. I also may or may not have spoiled myself a little bit with some more stuff coming in the mail....oops. #ihaveashoppingaddiction...

When In Doubt...

 Dress: Free People, Heels: Zara (old)

This dress from Free People is one of my favorite purchases so far. I was so torn on which color to buy. There's a beautiful plum color, mint, black, red and a few more but I really just wanted all of them. I chose the black one because I always turn to black when in doubt unless I'm feeling SUPER adventurous. I can wear this dress for a formal night out or even a semi-casual event. Free People never lets me down! 

I have a busy week ahead of me! Wish me luck...is it Spring break yet?
