Dressing for the Holidays

Happy weekend everyone! This weekend is starting off really great so far. I finally found this hat that I bought last year...it's amazing what happens when you clean your room! I'm obsessed with it. I'm also obsessed with this color combo lately. It's a simple way to transition from my usual black ensemble. This skirt from Bishop + Young is the perfect wine red shade. I can wear it to my holiday parties!
If you're in the LA area and are looking to score some amazing deals, head over to the Tokotoko Pop up sample sale tomorrow! It features great brands like Bishop + Young, Lucy Paris, Maison de Morgana, and a BUNCH more! It's Dec. 5 & 6 (Saturday & Sunday) from 11am-5pm. There will be food trucks and discounts up to 70% off. What a great way to shop for yourself or for some holiday gifts!!

Address:
1923 S. Santa Fe Ave.

See you there! xo

Fashion Fades, Style Is Eternal

Everything from Saint Laurent via Farfetch

I was thrilled when Farfetch asked me to join in on their 'Style is Eternal' competition to show a timeless wish list using only Saint Laurent pieces. The brand (obviously) has revolutionized women's fashion and continues to create pieces that never go out of style. If there is one brand out there that knows timeless style, it's Saint Laurent.

Clothing that can withstand the test of time is beautiful, but it also makes the woman wearing it feel beautiful in return. I chose these items on my wish list because they exude the 'style is eternal' spirit. No matter what trends are current, these items have always been staples in my closet. Each piece in the set, in my opinion, is interchangeable meaning it can be worn with anything!

Shop Saint Laurent at Farfetch HERE!

What are your favorite pieces from the collection? xo

GIFT CARD GIVEAWAY!

Hello everyone!

I'm finally back on the blog after three long months of traveling around. I've been busy catching up with everyone and everything in Sweden for the last month and now that I've had a chance to breathe, I can start updating again. I'll be here in Sweden until September so my schedule is still a little crazy. But it's nice to be back! I'll try to post as much as I can :)

But for now, I have a giveaway for you guys! Head over to Instagram to win a $25 gift card to Shop The Mint! All you have to do is comment on my post and follow @shopthemint and @caseyscollection on Instagram. So easy! I'm wearing a Shop The Mint tunic here and it matches perfectly with Swedish summers. It was really hot today so I was laying in the grass, hence the grass all over my knees...lol.

Good luck to everyone with the giveaway!! xo

Where The Wild Things Are

T shirt: T by Alexander Wang via The Outnet, Shorts: Levi's, Booties: Acne, Necklace: Happiness Boutique, Bag: Zara, Hat: Lack of Color via Need Supply Co., Bracelets: The 2 Bandits

photos by Bethany Struble

Melrose Ave. is the perfect place for blogger's to photograph their looks in Los Angeles. There's awesome street art like this everywhere you turn and it comes in many different styles to suit everyone's personal taste.

Where The Wild Things Are was one of my favorite books when I was growing up so I obviously had to take a few pictures here. In the first pic it looks like he's stealing my hat :). One of the things I'll miss the most about L.A is the diversity: the people, places, and style is so diverse and unique and I love being able to experience it all in my hometown.

I've officially entered freak out mode. I'm frantically packing and trying to get everything situated and say all my goodbyes before I leave Wednesday morning. Make sure you guys are following on Instagram (@caseyscollection) and Snapchat (caseydiaz) since I won't be blogging for a few weeks! xo!!

Culottes

Culottes: Kristinit , Boots: Acne Studios, Bag: Zara, Crop: Zara (old)

These Kristinit grey linen culottes are exactly the type of culottes I've been looking for! When the culotte pants trend first started emerging, I was skeptical to try it out. I held off until I could find a pair that perfectly complemented my body type. I'm only 5'4" with an athletic build so I didn't want the pants to weigh me down. These are perfectly high waisted, cropped in the right place, and just the right amount of flare. They've definitely turned me into a believer. Plus, I found a new, amazing brand in the process! I love them!

I'm leaving for Europe in 3 short days! I'm so excited to go but I'll definitely miss so much about LA. I'm saying goodbye to a lot of friends today and it feels weird to tell them I'll see them in September! September feels like so far away but I'm excited for another adventure :) Make sure to check out all these adventures on Snapchat! Add me at "caseydiaz"

The days I spend in West Hollywood eating blueberry muffin ice cream and sipping on almond milk iced lattes are some of my favorite days. If you're in the area, go to Sweet Rose Creamery and get any flavor of ice cream because they're all unbelievable. Then, to wash it all down, go full LA-girl and order an almond milk latte. You can thank me later...

I'm wearing some of my favorite brands in these photos so let me tell you a little about them. I've recently discovered an undeniable love for these Lack Of Color hats. I've been stalking their site and I have at least 5 in my cart right now. And just to add to my excessive shopping habit, the designers from The 2 Bandits have me drooling over each and every one of their designs. Don't you love this gold arrow cuff?! Moving on to the skirt: I shouldn't even need to tell you to buy this because it should be in your shopping cart before I finish typing this sentence...it's awesome...The entire line from Camp Collection is so comfortable and chic. So much so that they've successfully turned me into an outfit repeater. I wear their stuff ALL the time!

If you haven't already, make sure to add me on Snapchat for more images of Hollywood and especially more images of Shadow! :) My username is "caseydiaz"

I had to share my new JORD wood watch with you guys! They have such a beautiful collection of watches that are all made of wood. The one I'm wearing is the Ely series and it's made of maple. I was immediately drawn to the brand because their name (jord) is Swedish for "earth" and you all know I have a special place in my heart for all things Swedish :) Then I saw that they had beautiful pieces so I liked them even more.
I love the shade of brown because it matches nearly everything in my closet. There's another model similar to this one with a rose face and it's so pretty! It's currently on the top of my wishlist. If you are looking for a new watch or a gift for someone, this is definitely the site to check out!

Design with PIOL Dress

Dress: PIOL Dress, Sandals: Zara (old)

Huge shoutout to PIOL for letting me design my perfect spring dress, I love it!

If you haven't checked out their site you're missing out people! They help you create your perfect dress using your specific eye color, skin color, and hair color which then leads you to choosing prints that will emphasize your features. So, you're designing something that perfectly emphasizes your beautiful uniqueness! It's so empowering being able to create a dress that is specifically made for you.

I chose this print because it's so adorable. I couldn't resist. It reminds me of spring time and spring time makes me smile. Hope you like it as much as I do! Thanks PIOL :)

Uniqlo Lifewear

Cardigan & Shorts: Uniqlo

photos by Bethany Struble

I styled this look with my Uniqlo Lifewear cardigan and chino shorts. I love them both together and apart; but I think the pieces make a great preppy look for summer! I'm getting picky as my trip to Europe gets closer and closer. I need to really narrow down what I'm going to pack and these shorts and this cardigan have definitely made the cut. Thanks Uniqlo!

Desert Daze

Jean Jacket: Marc Jacobs (thrifted), Tank: Tart Collections, Shorts: Levi's 501's, Sunnies: Zero UV

photos by Bethany Struble

Before last weekend I hadn't been to Palm Springs since I was about 10 year old. Needless to say, I barely remember the experience and definitely did not appreciate it as much as I do now. It's the perfect getaway spot to escape LA; and Coachella made it that much better!

These Levi's shorts are going to be glued to my body this summer along with this light, airy tank from Tart Collections! And of course, no Coachella weekend outfit is complete without a stack of wristbands... #standard.

Make sure you check out more shopping options in the links above! xo
