Duchamps 1887

Hey guys! Christmas is coming up so fast. If you still need to get some gifts check out these dope hats from Duchamps 1887!

I love this brand because their hats are so modern compared to older versions of the snapback. It's refreshing to see a high fashion take on street style. They just dropped this "Ugly Sweater" snapback TODAY (pictured above) so get it while it's available for preorder! They have a ton of cool stuff on their site like embossed leather hats and other awesome prints to choose from.

Happy weekend everyone! This weekend is starting off really great so far. I finally found this hat that I bought last year...it's amazing what happens when you clean your room! I'm obsessed with it. I'm also obsessed with this color combo lately. It's a simple way to transition from my usual black ensemble. This skirt from Bishop + Young is the perfect wine red shade. I can wear it to my holiday parties!

August Getty x David LaChapelle 'Thread Of Man'

Last Wednesday, I was fortunate enough to attend the August Getty "Thread of Man" art installation at Universal Studios. Getty collaborated with famed photographer David LaChapelle to take over the back lot of Universal and bring a beautiful vision to life.

The models clothed in shades of nude stole the show with their blank stares and dazed motion. Getty and LaChapelle took everyone through a journey "from Hell to Heaven" and ended the installation with a gospel choir. Everyone crowded around the choir and sang along to tunes like "Oh, Happy Day" and "Man In The Mirror." It was such an organic way to end the night on a happy note. Everyone I walked passed was having the same conversation about how great the show was. Well done, boys! Glad to be apart of a great night!

Part 1: Dublin, Galway, London

In case you missed it, I have finally returned home to LA after 15 weeks of traveling around Europe. This is only a small fraction of the photos I took while adventuring but they are some of my favorites. I left them unedited because I thought the raw products were beautiful just as they are. If you've been following my blog for awhile you should know that this is not my first trip around Europe, but this time was so special to me in a way that differs from the others. Some places were completely new to me and some places were familiar; but they were all equally appreciated and absolutely stunning. I spent half of the time traveling with my wonderful best friend (the perfect travel companion by the way) and the other half was spent in Sweden with some of the greatest people on the planet. I'm in a completely different place in my life as compared to the last time I visited. I learned a lot about myself and my independence; but I also learned about the strength of the wonderful relationships I have with people all around the world. I frequently updated my Instagram while I was traveling around but once I got to Sweden, I focused my time on the people I hadn't seen in months (which is why I've been absent from blogging for a little!). It was so refreshing to be with my Swedes again. I'm one lucky girl!

I have more images to post from the trip, and expect a lot more outfit posts! Missed you guys :)

Fashion Fades, Style Is Eternal

Everything from Saint Laurent via Farfetch

I was thrilled when Farfetch asked me to join in on their 'Style is Eternal' competition to show a timeless wish list using only Saint Laurent pieces. The brand (obviously) has revolutionized women's fashion and continues to create pieces that never go out of style. If there is one brand out there that knows timeless style, it's Saint Laurent.

Clothing that can withstand the test of time is beautiful, but it also makes the woman wearing it feel beautiful in return. I chose these items on my wish list because they exude the 'style is eternal' spirit. No matter what trends are current, these items have always been staples in my closet. Each piece in the set, in my opinion, is interchangeable meaning it can be worn with anything!

What are your favorite pieces from the collection? xo

GIFT CARD GIVEAWAY!

Hello everyone!

I'm finally back on the blog after three long months of traveling around. I've been busy catching up with everyone and everything in Sweden for the last month and now that I've had a chance to breathe, I can start updating again. I'll be here in Sweden until September so my schedule is still a little crazy. But it's nice to be back! I'll try to post as much as I can :)

But for now, I have a giveaway for you guys! Head over to Instagram to win a $25 gift card to Shop The Mint! All you have to do is comment on my post and follow @shopthemint and @caseyscollection on Instagram. So easy! I'm wearing a Shop The Mint tunic here and it matches perfectly with Swedish summers. It was really hot today so I was laying in the grass, hence the grass all over my knees...lol.

Good luck to everyone with the giveaway!! xo

Where The Wild Things Are

Melrose Ave. is the perfect place for blogger's to photograph their looks in Los Angeles. There's awesome street art like this everywhere you turn and it comes in many different styles to suit everyone's personal taste.

Where The Wild Things Are was one of my favorite books when I was growing up so I obviously had to take a few pictures here. In the first pic it looks like he's stealing my hat :). One of the things I'll miss the most about L.A is the diversity: the people, places, and style is so diverse and unique and I love being able to experience it all in my hometown.

I've officially entered freak out mode. I'm frantically packing and trying to get everything situated and say all my goodbyes before I leave Wednesday morning. Make sure you guys are following on Instagram (@caseyscollection) and Snapchat (caseydiaz) since I won't be blogging for a few weeks! xo!!

Culottes

Culottes: Kristinit , Boots: Acne Studios, Bag: Zara, Crop: Zara (old)

These Kristinit grey linen culottes are exactly the type of culottes I've been looking for! When the culotte pants trend first started emerging, I was skeptical to try it out. I held off until I could find a pair that perfectly complemented my body type. I'm only 5'4" with an athletic build so I didn't want the pants to weigh me down. These are perfectly high waisted, cropped in the right place, and just the right amount of flare. They've definitely turned me into a believer. Plus, I found a new, amazing brand in the process! I love them!

I'm leaving for Europe in 3 short days! I'm so excited to go but I'll definitely miss so much about LA. I'm saying goodbye to a lot of friends today and it feels weird to tell them I'll see them in September! September feels like so far away but I'm excited for another adventure :) Make sure to check out all these adventures on Snapchat! Add me at "caseydiaz"

xo!
