We are finally here! So far we went to the store, bought tanning oil, and walked down to the beach for a little bit. We're spending today just being lazy in our amazing villa and for the rest of the week I promise I will be more exciting.

This shirt completes my life. Prepare for it to be on high rotation from now on, everyone! And the best part, it's only $25! Also, these "Awesome" jeans from One Teaspoon truly do live up to their name. I love the light wash. I destroyed them a little bit more in the knees once I got them. I think it looks better :) For the last few days it's been HOT in Los Angeles, so I've been dressing a bit more relaxed and I've been trying to spend more time outside wishing I was at the beach.

Speaking of the beach, in a week from today I will be on a plane to Maui for Spring Break! I cannot tell you how excited I am. Before I leave though I am completely swamped with homework and volleyball and appointments. Wish me luck this week and I promise to completely overload everyone with Maui pictures next week! Woooo!

The Sun Dress

This dress is half off at Nasty Gal if anyone is interested! I'm not sure how many are left since I bought it around Christmas time, but you should check it out. I also loved this dress in black but I decided I needed a pretty white dress instead and I'm happy with my decision :) Stylestalker is always a good choice. 

Waking up super early tomorrow to coach a tournament all day, so it's time for me to go to bed. Wish us luck ;)

Here's a quick post before my volleyball game today! These leather jogging shorts will be on high rotation for the next few months as it gets hotter and hotter and leather pants will be looked down upon. I bought them last year from Urban Renewal and I loooove them but I wish they had pockets! I know that Zara has a pair similar to this if you are looking for something like it. I've been trying to get my closet ready for summer by looking for tropical prints and light colors instead of my usual dark choices. What's on your wish list for summer?!

On The Prowl

I don't think you understand the seriousness of this situation when I say I NEED THESE SHOES. They're seriously sold out at every Zara and now I'm just hoping they'll restock and SOON before I lose my mind! So this is me begging Zara to please get these babies back soon.

Ohhhh, Mondays...I never really do too much on Mondays. But then I hate myself on Tuesdays for being so lazy on Mondays and forcing myself to do work I should have done on Monday! Ugh. So in other words, I have a busy week but it's not a bad thing. I want to be busy for the next two weeks so it feels like Spring Break comes up even faster. If that makes any sense...

I bought this sweater about a month ago and this is the first time I've worn it. I love the blush color and I love that it's light and perfect for Spring. It's also long enough to wear over my bathing suits over summer which is amazing for long days at the beach. Also, if you don't own a pair of these Mink Pink slasher shorts you need to question your priorities because they're the one pair of shorts I own that are completely over used {in a good way}.

Today Marcus and I went to Bottega Louie for brunch. We had Bloody Mary's, lattes, great food, and of course macarons. This has to be one of my favorite places in LA to eat. I love the food and the atmosphere there. It's nice to go every once in awhile and have a small meal and get some great macarons. If any of you are in LA I highly recommend you take a trip there! Saturdays are really the only time Marcus and I can do anything or go anywhere because of school, work, and volleyball so we've been trying to take advantage of them by going somewhere fun. :)

Now about my outfit; I just want to warn you that I am going to wear this skirt way too much and you're probably going to get sick of it. It seriously is perfect it goes with everything! I knew I needed it right when I saw the Zara Spring look book. Amazing. Thank you, Zara for making me look good and making me broke as hell. 

It's a beautiful day today and I think I'm going to spend the rest of the day outside and tonight in the spa. I love weekends.

I've been really into monochrome-ish looks. Maybe I'm just getting lazy, but it's so simple and elegant and it doesn't take long to put an outfit together. Another thing I'm really loving right now is floral, tropical, bright prints. I know, who am I right? I think the super hot weather is getting to me. I'm missing summer so I need some bright clothes in my life! Lately, my daily attire has been gym clothes because of volleyball and my new found love/hate relationship with running. So, every chance I get I try to dress up a little. I tend to miss my 4 inch heels when I'm wearing Nike Frees. And these Free People x Jeffrey Campbell heels are satisfying my summer/4 inch/amazing heel needs.
