The release date is getting closer and closer! This video is absolutely genius and gets me even more excited about this collaboration. Who's ready for November 6th?
After reading a recent Refinery 29 article, I have been enlightened with the knowledge of what an $80 million apartment in New York City looks like. I saw the images, regained a normal heart rate, and then became ridiculously envious of whoever could afford such a breathtaking place to live. First and foremost, $80 million is an unfathomable amount of money. If you have $80 million to spend at a whim, you better be giving some of that to charities or something. Secondly, I have an obvious infatuation with NYC and this apartment is what my hopes and dreams consist of. Every visit to NYC leaves me inspired and feeling like I can conquer anything. Now, these views above the city will most likely never become a reality for me, but a girl can keep dreaming. And more importantly, a girl can gain some serious interior design inspiration from this. The classic, sophisticated color palette is exactly what is expected from an apartment of this standard. Seriously, could it be more beautiful? It's making me sick. Let's hope whoever lives here appreciates every damn second of it. What do you guys think?

Two things to share: 1.) I cut my hair off! This is the shortest I've gone in a long time...but so far i'm really enjoying the barely-able-to-rock-a-ponytail length. That sounded a little sarcastic but I really do like it! ;)
and 2.) UNIQLO IS HERE!!! WOO!! If you're into awesome and affordable basics like I am, you will be excited to know that the Tokyo based company, Uniqlo, is finally in L.A. There is a location at the Northridge Fashion Center and their flagship store is located at the Beverly Center. Everyone should check it out! Especially the flagship location...it's HUGE. Which means it's filled with good things to buy. This top is undoubtedly going to be part of my layering regimen when it gets cool enough to pile on the layers. I'm excited to find new ways to style it! Do you guys have any good ideas? Let me know in the comments!
I often find myself staring into the abyss that is my closet thinking the inevitable thought that I have nothing to wear, just like every other girl I know. Obviously this statement is ridiculously untrue; my closet is sufficiently stocked with minimalist items that. The struggle, however, is finding new and creative ways to pair these items to correspond with the mood I'm in at the moment. Getting dressed in the morning, for me, is a creative process. It's a way for me to show the world who I want to be and how I want to be seen for the day. And on this day, I threw all my favorite basics on my body and showed the world just how basic I am. #basicbitchforlife and I looooove it. Make sure to shop my post for any items you like! :)
If you follow me on Instagram, you might already know that we have booked a trip to Maui in January! (Obviously) I can't wait to go! I think about it especially when I'm sitting in class wishing the semester would end. Naturally, I've already begun window shopping around for some items that pertain to island life. I stumbled across this Tularosa dress and instantaneously starting drooling. I could see myself wearing this for years; especially with this everlasting heat in LA! And I don't even want to get started on the insanely perfect Marysia bikini that is unfortunately just way too out of my price range. Hence the reason that I made this WISH list. It's mainly just wishing. Also, if you need some awesome new shoes in your life, check out ATP Atelier...yeaaaahh you're welcome.
I've been on the prowl for a camel coat for a few years now and I think I've finally found the one. This beauty from Mango meets all of my requirements: the length, the neckline, the waist belt. I have yet to see it in person so I hope it's as good as it looks! What do you guys think? Is this the one?
I can no longer deny my innate love for all clothing black, white and gray; especially after seeing this Saint Laurent ad. I can't keep fighting it, I'm a minimalist at heart and bright colors and prints just don't do it for me. Basics are beautiful. And no one vamps up basics like Saint Laurent can.
Honestly, I would climb any tree you'd ask me to for some Saint Laurent...Wouldn't you?
Last week was the first acceptable week in a long time to wear pants. It finally started to cool down and I started to feel like a normal citizen of Earth rather than a miserable ball of fire. Before last week I would scour at anyone wearing anything that went past their knee. Good for them for dealing with the sweaty pain...But the temp dropped and I immediately dug out my leather pants. I purchased these last year at the 3.1 Phillip Lim sample sale in DTLA. They are such a beautiful blood red shade and the perfect contribution to my fall palette! Now, bring on the rain...I'm ready to bundle up in some sweaters and coats. :)
