Here's my attempt at making a very low quality GIF. (lolz) Do we like it? Yes? No? Maybe so? Let me know.  :)

Anyways, I bought this vest at Sandro for nearly half the original price during their sale (which is still going on!!). When I first saw it, I put it down and walked out of the store thinking that I probably wouldn't wear it. Fast forward to a couple days later and I found myself constantly thinking about ways I could wear the vest and decided that I simply needed it. A general rule of thumb I try to stick to before purchasing is to envision a minimum of three outfits I can create with the desired item. Of course, the outfit must contain other items that I already own. I find this a good way to weed out clothing that blinds my reasoning skills. This vest made the cut and I am sooo glad it did!

Summer Days

When the Swedish summer gets hot, trust me, it gets HOT. Good thing I'm an expert at living in the heat! This Anine Bing dress was the perfect companion for relaxing on the porch and soaking in the sun while listening to my summer playlist. One thing being in Sweden has taught me is to always appreciate the sunny days; you never know when the weather will spontaneously change! The great thing about this dress is that I will be able to wear it for months to come when I get back home. I think it would look great with a jean jacket and ankle boots, as well. How would you style it?

I was browsing through Zara's web shop, as per usual, and noticed this recurring trend of tying your sweater around your shoulder and hip. At first, I thought, "hmm, interesting" and the more I saw it, the more I fell for it. Simple, relaxed, chic. The styling at Zara has been so on point in the past couple of years. Anyways, this trend is perfect for the unpredictable weather patterns in my life. In LA, the standard is to go from freezing-effing-cold in the mornings to scorching-effing-hot by lunch time. In Sweden, rain seems to follow me around even on the sunniest days. WOW that sounded depressing, but seriously it rains all the time. So, having a light sweater is necessary and having an awesome way to tie that sweater around your body is even more of a necessity. Be on the look out for this trend! Also, be on the look out for those Zara sweaters....I want...

Due to the immense amount of walking I've been doing in the past 3 weeks, my feet are absolutely loving these Adidas originals. They are the perfect sneaker for the minimalist, boyish style that I seem to be perpetually attracted to. Surprisingly, they look great with a lot more outfits than I originally planned...*bonus points* 

Now, onto the real test; let's see how long I can keep them clean and shiny white. Any takers? I say another week...

I am completely in love with my new Acne Studios ankle boots that I bought from the Acne Archive in Stockholm! I have been drooling over the Acne Pistol Booties that everyone adores ever since they came out years ago. I mean, seriously, everyone has the Pistol booties or a complete knock-off of them...which is completely understandable. After trying on the Pistol booties over and over again and attempting to justify the price tag, I would always walk out of the store empty handed. These, however, were half the price, much less mainstream, and the last ones in my size. Fate? I think yes. Thank you Acne Archive for the boots and for all of your goodness, you never seem to let me down.
