Relaxed is my theme for this weekend. After my first week back to school I'm trying to take it easy for a couple days before I become bombarded with homework! In other news, while the rest of the country has been suffering through the "polar vortex," California decided to say "f*ck that" and now it feels like summer. I've been out in skirts and shorts and very light layers for the past few weeks. Though I really can't complain, I still wish I was in a winter wonderland so I could actually utilize my coats and cold weather clothing. I am very happy however that I found these used Isabel Marant Rio sandals on Vestiaire Collective for an extremely discounted price! They're a little difficult to walk in, but practice makes perfect...

There comes a point in every girl's life when she decides she needs some thigh high boots. My epiphany came when I stumbled across an image on Emmanuelle Alt, the woman who has mastered all basic pieces, and decided...damn I need those. So luckily Zara was having their sale because I found these babies that fit my short legs just right. Surprisingly enough, thigh high boots are insanely versatile which leaves me excited to experiment with them!

Snagged this amazing tartan coat from Zara in Stockholm during their sale! Definitely gives off some Celine vibes...for a fraction of the price of course. It's perfect for these California "winters" because it's light but keeps your warm. Another one of my favorite trends right now is the frayed ends on your denim. It undoubtedly toughens up any outfit. 

Right now, I'm watching the Golden Globes! Who's wearing your favorite gowns?!
