Euro Trip

Hi! Now that I finally have some decent Internet connection and the time to sit down and relax for a second, I thought I would tell you all that I haven't been able to post because I've been on a road trip around Europe for the past week and a half. I'll be back in Sweden this weekend with plenty of pictures and blog material! It's been so much fun and I wish I had more time to explore. Here's an iPhone picture from Lago Di Iseo, Italy. Here's my attempt at making a very low quality GIF. (lolz) Do we like it? Yes? No? Maybe so? Let me know.  :)

Anyways, I bought this vest at Sandro for nearly half the original price during their sale (which is still going on!!). When I first saw it, I put it down and walked out of the store thinking that I probably wouldn't wear it. Fast forward to a couple days later and I found myself constantly thinking about ways I could wear the vest and decided that I simply needed it. A general rule of thumb I try to stick to before purchasing is to envision a minimum of three outfits I can create with the desired item. Of course, the outfit must contain other items that I already own. I find this a good way to weed out clothing that blinds my reasoning skills. This vest made the cut and I am sooo glad it did!

Summer Days

When the Swedish summer gets hot, trust me, it gets HOT. Good thing I'm an expert at living in the heat! This Anine Bing dress was the perfect companion for relaxing on the porch and soaking in the sun while listening to my summer playlist. One thing being in Sweden has taught me is to always appreciate the sunny days; you never know when the weather will spontaneously change! The great thing about this dress is that I will be able to wear it for months to come when I get back home. I think it would look great with a jean jacket and ankle boots, as well. How would you style it?
